What sets the price
No figures here. A number nobody has seen the job for is a guess, so the operator quotes on the call. Four things move it. Check whether it is even your job first.
Size
Squirrel, raccoon, deer. Weight sets the floor.
Where it is
Lawn is a lift. Attic is a ladder and a search. Under a porch is somebody on their stomach. Enclosed costs more because it takes longer.
Access
Locked unit, no keyholder, dog, lot a truck cannot enter. Each adds time. Say it on the call.
Age
Fresh leaves little behind. Two weeks in a warm basement soaks in, and what it soaked into comes out too.
Fast number
Address, spot on the property, reachable or not. That gets most jobs priced on the phone. "Do not know" is a fine answer to the third.
Not stated
No minimum charge, no price band, no free-estimate line. The operator sets their own terms and states them before any work.
